Implementation guide on Lubuntu 12.04 LTSP thin clients for headquarters Jose Marti.

Abstract

This paper addresses the use of thin clients to reuse component technologies in higher education. The aim of this study is to develop a guide to promote the implementation of the basic Linux Terminal Server Project (LTSP) on Lubuntu 12.04 software for thin clients, computer labs headquarters "José Martí". Work for the development of analysis and synthesis, inductive-deductive, document analysis, interviews, observation, descriptive statistics and percentage analysis methods were used. In the body of work the LTSP software based on Lubuntu 12.04 is analyzed and described the results achieved underlying prepared guide and as part of the assessment of the results set out general considerations concerning the implemented guide.
