Abstract
The borojó grown in two sectors of Ecuador; in the basins of the Amazon River and the coastal region, a community dedicated to the production of borojó is located in the province of Esmeraldas by the Canton San Lorenzo called "Chachi", population which could develop a micro-enterprise to elaborate the borojó derived products through a partnership between the producers of this fruit. This microenterprise would ensure social and economic development of these people and their families.
Borojó production in Ecuador is 9.13 metric tons per hectare per year and pulp borojó 5.6 metric tons per year, if part of this production is destined to the development of energizing, jam and vinaigrette in the sector Chachi, it would generate employment sources and their products would contribute to changing the productive matrix of Ecuador.
