Abstract

From the search for José Martí's Works in Google Scholar and with the use of tools such as Publish or Perish, bibliometric indicators such as the h-index were able to determine the validity of José Martí's work. The high values of "h" that José Martí reaches as an author would place him as a first-line researcher, at present, with a notable impact on Social Sciences. It was possible to determine the most cited works, among which, Nuestra América is in the first place, which was demonstrated both by the total number of citations reached and by following their annual variation for more than 20 years.
