Abstract
This work is intended brake system, is an essential component of active vehicle safety, its operative condition can be altered during its useful life, causing failures, generating traffic accidents, for cause of death, providing death rates nationwide. To objective is analyze the braking parameters of M1 vehicle, linked braking efficiency, depending on the load level, to visualize the variation of the braking force and the weight distribution and its effect on the braking system. The tests were developed on Beissbarth BD 640 brake tester machine, according to requirements ECE 13-H regulation in vacuum, half load and maximum load conditions. These results revealed braking efficiency is reduced by 24%, with the load variation, both the grip condition from front axle is reduced with the load increase. The weight distribution influences in center of gravity and reduction of deceleration by 12.9%. Finally, the increased load modifies the application of braking forces at each wheel of the vehicle.
