Resumen

El establecimiento del modelo económico en función del desarrollo sostenible en respuesta a las actuales condiciones ambientales, es una necesidad irrefutable en la actualidad. Sin embargo, entre otras razones, su implementación completa aún no se lleva a cabo porque hasta ahora no existe un sistema desarrollado que contemple la determinación de indicadores ambientales y el uso de habilidades de gestión. Esta contribución cientí­fica se enfoca en proyectar una revisión bibliográfica que expone las herramientas de administración ambiental en la economí­a de Sur América. Para alcanzar este propósito se auxilia del programa computacional ¨Publish or Perish ¨ el cual permite identificar las investigaciones más representativas y consultadas en la temática abordada. Como resultado de la investigación se muestran el grupo de herramientas de administración económica en función de bunas prácticas ecológicas, en América del Sur.
