Introduction

Submitted texts must be the result of original and unpublished research. All submissions undergo an initial evaluation by the Editorial Board to ensure compliance with the journal's formal requirements and alignment with its thematic scope.

If the submission is approved during this stage, it will be assigned to reviewers. The journal will proceed with publication if the article receives positive evaluations, even when minor revisions are suggested.

The review process, which should not exceed five weeks, will conclude with the author being notified of one of the following decisions: approval, rejection, or approval with modifications.

Note: For more information, please see the sections about Review policies, Author fees, and our Ethical Statement.

General characteristics of the content

All submitted manuscripts must meet the following characteristics of scientific research:

  1. Originality and Unpublished Work:
Manuscripts must be original and unpublished. They should not have been published in any medium or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  2. Relevance and Current Issues:
Manuscripts must address problems that respond to current and significant needs within the field of social sciences.

  3. Research Ethics and Clarity:
Submissions must contribute to the ethical research framework and employ clear, precise, and accessible language. Manuscripts must not include, defend, or promote content that is discriminatory, offensive, or trivial.

Failure to comply with any of these general requirements will result in the automatic rejection of the manuscript.

Types of contributions

Our primary objective is to publish original, high-quality academic material. We accept research results and theoretical reflections in the following formats: research articles, theoretical articles, review articles (literature reviews or systematic reviews), book reviews, essays, editorials, and translations in the field of social sciences.

a. Original Research Article

Presents the results of completed research projects. The structure of the article should include the following sections:

  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusions
  • References

Authors must adhere to this structure or close variants. Submissions should be between 3,000 and 10,000 words, including titles, abstracts, keywords, and references.

b. Theoretical Article

This document presents completed research results from an analytical, interpretative, or critical perspective on a specific topic, relying on original sources. Submissions must demonstrate logical structure and conceptual rigor, providing a novel and reflective discussion on key societal issues.

  • Word count: 3,000 to 10,000 words (including titles, abstracts, keywords, and references).

c. Review Article (Literature Review or Systematic Review)

Summarizes and synthesizes the findings and conclusions of multiple original research studies. Unlike research articles, review articles typically:

  • Do not include a methodology section.

  • Feature extensive bibliographies.

  • Word count: 3,000 to 10,000 words (including titles, abstracts, keywords, and references).

d. Book Review

Book reviews provide a concise summary and critical evaluation of a newly published book, often identifying its relevance as a potential research source. Proposals can be submitted by the author or the publisher.

  • Word count: Up to 2,000 words.
  • The review must include complete bibliographic details of the book edition being reviewed.

e. Essay

Essays are characterized by flexible structure and stylistic freedom, driven by the author's logical reasoning and reflective discourse. However, submissions must demonstrate:

  • Coherence and internal cohesion.
  • An investigative-reflective approach supported by bibliographic references.

Essays must clearly state:

  • Objective

  • Conclusion

  • Word count: 1,800 to 5,000 words.

f. Other Types of Contributions

The journal also considers alternative forms of scientific communication, including:

  • Letters to the editor: Short, focused pieces addressing recently published articles or current topics relevant to the journal's scope.
  • Critical commentaries: Analytical reflections or responses to specific research findings, theories, or societal debates.
  • Translations: Author-approved translations of significant works (classic or contemporary) that contribute to advancing knowledge in the social sciences.

Submissions in this category will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Relevance to the journal’s scope and readership.
  2. Originality and scholarly value.
  3. Conciseness and clarity of argumentation.
  • Word count: Typically between 500 and 2,000 words, depending on the type of contribution.

All proposals will be reviewed and approved by the Editorial Board before acceptance for publication.
