A Comparative Study of Conceptual Elements and Visual Effects in Iranian Miniature and Iranian Architecture

Niloufar Mohammadi, Golshan Rezaei Mireghaed, Behrooz Janipour

Art and architecture are completely objective matters, and in the construction of thought, we need to know which conceptual and objective concepts have influenced and shaped these objective matters. As such concepts can be used to understand better and deeper the work. Therefore, the goal of this research is to identify the visual and conceptual elements in these two arts, and the effect and adaptation of these concepts in the field of Iranian architecture and miniature. The necessity of this article is to find innovations in Iranian graphic arts. There is also little information about the traditional Iranian architecture and constructions, especially before the Safavid era; the works of Iranian miniature, which are more closely associated with Iranian literature and poetry in small sizes in the design of books, due to applied reason and visual combination, and in smaller sizes, has been observed less in an analytical method. The used research method in this article is a descriptive-analytical study using library resources that has been evaluated and adapted using the concepts and methods of visual structure in two systems of Iranian miniature and Iranian architecture. The results of this study show that the spatial and visual elements in Iranian miniature and Iranian architecture are not completely identical and have similarities and differences with each other, which are set in a number of tables.
